The Ruralplex Is Not A Wrestling Hold

Do you have a new year's resolution to learn more about your Minnesotan neighbors outside of the Cities and the suburbs? Well you should! And the new Rural Minnesota Journal, which just debuted its first issue, can help.

This is very curious.

In what way?

I dunno yet. I'm still actually thinking about it. :)

With an intro by Norm Coleman and an early entry from Tim Penny, it sounded suspiciously close to AmEx for my taste. But after reading a few of the articles, it's pretty interesting.

I should? Why?

excellent title for the post.

The rural/suburban/metro divide is one of the more disgusting aspects of this state. Maybe the journal will help us one day all get along.

At first glance, it looked like the ruralrex. Now *THAT* was curious ;-)

Why is everything outside "The Cities" automatically classified as "rural"?

SB (on the "rural" Range)

So long as they don't publish any of KK's trash I'll read it.

What in god's name is that thing on their research page?

Anybody find any especially interesting articles in particular? Clue in those of us who couldn't make it past Smilin' Norm.

Tell ya one thing. Us folks out here in "rural MN" don't cotton to them what has an address with "suite" in it. Sounds too high falootin.

Why can't them damn Cities Slickers mind their own business?

What in god's name is that thing on their research page?
It's a river otter.

Paying Your Neighbor's Utility Bill in Minneapolis
