In preparation for Art-A-Whirl, the world-famous Rogue Taxidermy Association has launched a new site: Beast Blender. (Refersher: Back in October, a link to the Rogue Taxidermy show at Creative Electric led to Boing Boing linking to it, which led national media attention from the New York Times to Maxim.) This new site, which allows you to construct your own rogue taxidermy Frankenstein, will undoubtably spread faster than you can say subservient ring-tailed lemur. Likeley a nod to the official National Taxidermy Association (which denounced the exhibit), Beast Blender loads with the message "We create not monsters, but spectacular beasts of common animal."
