I'll be setting my DVD recorder for The First 48 on Thursday. It's a very interesting show.

I suspect that the St. Cloud case, like the motorist who sued the owners of the dog he hit and killed, will be dismissed.
If the bars served an intoxicated patron, as the family contends, then there are appropriate fines and punishments for the bar owners.
Another sad case of parents in denial. This lawsuit would accomplish nothing.

I had just moved to Minneapolis when I recognized the restaurant a block and a half from my apartment on COPS. (Ribizza, in the space now occupied by Golooney's at 24th and Hennepin.)

Every once in a while I'll catch the "American Justice" episode about The Weepy Voiced Killer and get squicked out.
Alie - I know exactly what episode you're talking about! The dude's voice is super creepy.

I'm interested in "The First 48" as I showed up on the scene to cover the story that night. We saw the photographers get out of the car with the detectives and wondered what was going on. The must have gone on several other calls, before they landed on the one they were profiling.
The Stillwater mayor's name is Junker, so he was probably on a junk watch-list for quite some time.
